What if I’m not home to receive the meals when they arrive?
That is not a problem.  We ask that you place an ice chest or a box with a lid outside of the door and if you do not respond to our knocking, we will automatically place the meal inside the container provided.

How do I pay?
The clients choose whether they would like to pay weekly or monthly.   About half of our clients pay weekly.  When the delivery person comes with the meal on Friday, a check or cash can be given to the Mobile Meal's driver and they will place the money in an envelope provided with your name on it.  It will then be returned to the office.
Some of our clients prefer to pay monthly.  A check is made out to Mobile Meals in the first week of the month, for that month, and given to the delivery person to return to the office.

I’m a Diabetic, is that a problem?
No.  About half of our clients are Diabetic.  We will select foods for you that will help you maintain your blood sugar levels.

What if I don’t care for certain foods?
When you sign up for the program these are things we want to know.  Each client has a label on their food container with their preferences.  We do our best to serve you foods that please you.

Is there a menu?
No, we do not have a menu.   The hospital provides the meals but since our meals are only a small part of their overall operations, they do not have the meals planned far enough in advance to provide you with a menu.

How do we find our clients?
Our clients find us.  We have brochures distributed throughout the Wenatchee Valley in medical and public facilities, as well as churches.  Family members or the clients themselves contact us for information or to sign up.  We also receive referrals through social service representatives at our local hospitals and nursing homes as well as staff who provide in-home care services.
